(2013) Vista Chino - Peace

Ok, tenemos nueva banda y nuevo disco: Vista Chino y Peace.

Product Description:

Ltd First Ed Digipack incl. 2 Bonus Tracks. The Return of the Stoner/Desert Rock Kings John Garcia and Brant Björk ex-KYUSS LIVES!
KYUSS, the band that originated the Stoner/Desert Rock genre and spawned the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, Mondo Generator, Unida, Slo Burn and Brant Bjork & Operators has birthed another project from founding members Brant Bjork and John Garcia... say hello to VISTA CHINO.
At a time when interest in the genre is approaching an all-time high, VISTA CHINO makes a statement and a mark on the collective rock consciousness with their debut album, "Peace".
As creative and skilled as ever, VISTA CHINO trumps any competition from the latest bands on the scene! With years of innovation and musical exploration that have evolved to the current but intimately connected sounds of their past John Garcia says:
Kyuss Lives! is now VISTA CHINO….
"It feels great just to write that... and to say it out loud, feels even better" said Garcia upon signing with Napalm. With every note, "Peace" demonstrates the positive energy and songwriting skills that continues the musical legacy. With distinctive tuned down guitars, bass heavy sound and perfectly placed psychedelic parts that will leave every fan of the genre blissfully happy.
13 minuter operas like, "Acid" and "The Gambling Moose" play as much a part in this Phoenix like rebirth and as the catchy and easily accessible "Dargona Dragona".
Everyone who listens will connect to the roots of VISTA CHINO; never losing sight of the fact that this a record who's time is now.

http://www.filmaffinity.com/es/film961277.html

www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pe872N7se0A

Beat it! no les aburrirá  ;-)
- Entréis a la Web! ---> http://www.beatitmusikaeskola.com/ (en construcción).

No solo.

Ando necesitado! Ja, ja, ja!!!
Ok, mi plan (http://viviendoapesardelacrisis.blogspot.com.es/2013/08/planificar-viaje.html) es (a grandes rasgos):

Valle D'Aosta, Turín, Savona, Génova, Ferrara, Portofino, Bobbio, Parma, Cinque Terre, La Spezia, Lerici, Lucca, Bologna, Prato, Rímini, San Ginignano, Arezzo, Perugia, Asís, Isla de Elba, Orvieto, Tarquinia, Roma, Nápoles, Capri, Sorrento, Amalfi.

-Cinque Terre:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinque_Terre
The Cinque Terre is a rugged portion of coast on the Italian Riviera. It is in the Liguria region of Italy, to the west of the city of La Spezia. "The Five Lands" is composed of five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Over the centuries, people have carefully built terraces on the rugged, steep landscape right up to the cliffs that overlook the sea. Part of its charm is the lack of visible corporate development. Paths, trains and boats connect the villages, and cars cannot reach them from the outside. The Cinque Terre area is a very popular tourist destination.

http://www.parks.it/parco.portofino/Epar.php

http://dwsdiving.com/languages/en/marine.html

The sea banks of Portofino are amongst the richest and most interesting not only of the Riviera Ligure Sea, but also of the entire Mediterranean, and for this reason they are amongst the most studied and visited.

The park extends about 4 kilometres from the promontory of Portofino to the Gulf of Paradiso to the west and by the Gulf of Tigullio to the east. The southernmost section is over 6 kms long and includes the beautiful bays of San Fruttuoso and Cal dell’Oro, surrounded by tall, rugged cliffs that extend under water to depths of 50 meters.

The marine park with its massive underwater cliffs and sea grass (Posidinia ) beds is also full of vibrant, red coral because the conditions here are perfect for it to thrive.

Marine life is varied and some species are unique to this area. Expect to see mon fish, violet and pink nudibranch, white, red, gold and pink gorgonian, tuna, grouper, dentix, octopus, lobster and moray eels, the yellow cluster anemone and the Sardinian coral.

Where the sea floor becomes sandy is where there are vast expanses of sea grass (Posidonia)

This marine park also forms a small coastal part of the Pelagos Sanctuary for Marine Mammals. Cetaceans in the sanctuary include the fin whale, striped dolphin, sperm whale, bottlenose dolphin short beaked common dolphin, Risso’s dolphin, long-finned pilot whale and Cuvier’s beaked whale although most common sightings close to shore are dolphins.
http://dwsdiving.com/languages/en/dives.html

http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cristo_del_abismo
Placed in the waters of the small village of San Fruttuoso in 1954 by the Costa family, and later dedicated to the memory of dive-instruction pioneer Duilio Marcante, the statue of the Christ of the Depths has become a symbol for all divers and one of the most famous dives in the world.
We begin our descent inside the small bay that harbors the statue, which was cast in bronze, through melting sailor's military medals for valor, ship's anchors, and other glorious pieces from people who dedicated their lives to the sea.
Keeping the statue to our right, we head left toward the wall.
Following it, at a depth of about 30 meters we come upon a tall and deep crack rich in red coral (Corallium Rubrum) that shelters spiny lobsters. The wall continues, and at its far end an area of large boulders begins, which is rich in surfaces covered with yellow cluster anemones (Parazoanthus) and enthralling landscapes. We then ascend and begin our return trip: the rocks end at about 12 meters, where we find an area of Poseidonion beds (on top of the wall) and immediately afterward a saddle rich in cracks.
Passing this saddle, which offers dens for the morays and polyps, just a few kicks separate us from the legendary charm of the Christ of the Depths.
Here we can stop to admire the statue, take a few photos, and gaze at the alluring tricks of light created by the sun.
One of the many points that form the Portofino Promontory is the location of this dive site, named Vessinaro Point.
Descending along the buoy chain, we reach the bottom at 27 meters. Huge rocks, completely covered with red gorgonians (Paramuricea Clavata), create a wall effect, which we begin to explore.
Set one into the next, these boulders offer large groupers the chance to find shelter, and they sometimes share their dens with curious conger eels.
Keeping our wall on our left side, we descend to 35 meters. Here, the dissipating boulders create a canyon effect, and the ever-larger gorgonians form stupendous fans. Considering the depth, our computer tells us it's time to ascend. At 23 meters we get the feeling we're being watched, and turning toward the open sea we can see large sea breams chasing thousands of Ray's breams.
A small open-ended cave marks the buoy circuit, and with the wall to our right we stay at a depth of 12 meters. Even at this shallow depth, we can come across spiny lobsters and moray eels hidden in the coastal recesses. Reaching a small bay divided by a large boulder, a beautiful forkbeard wants to play hide and seek with us, but our computer tells us it's time to go. We've got no choice but to ascend and finish our beautiful dive.
We begin our descent along the buoy chain, and once we reach a depth of 18-20 meters, we set off to the east, moving around two large rocks where large resident groupers are common. We swim to the west through an alluring landscape between the two rocks at approximately 24 meters. Continuing in the same direction, we cross a wide landslide featuring numerous caves and recesses rich in red coral (Corallium rubrum), followed by a long section in which there are frequent encounters with moray eels, conger eels, groupers, schools of dassies, and corvinas. Ascending, we return eastward following a rock plateau running from 12 to 18 meters until we reach the point, where a ridge descends abruptly toward the bottom, and we can admire large red gorgonians (Paramuricee). This point is usually characterized by a sustained current that favors the presence of migratory fish such as sea breams, amberjacks, giltheads, and bass, as well as the usual groupers attracted by the presence of numerous octopuses. The dive concludes near the point, where we swim around a reef typified by the spectacular flowering of the yellow cluster anemones (Parazoanthus) and by the presence of a multitude of fish of every species.
The Dragon is one of the most widely varied dives in terms of the environments we can visit: we move from walls rich in coral (Corallum Rubrium) and gorgonians (Paramuricea Clavata), to suspended ceilings, to finally swim around large blocks of rock that feature an intricate series of channels and passages.
The structure of the walls, which descend vertically to the bottom at depths ranging from 25 to 40 meters and beyond, make this a medium-difficult level dive.
We have two choices for our descent: one is to descend along the mooring chain, but since the base rests on a seabed at approximately 30 meters, some divers might feel uncomfortable and choose to begin the dive by descending along the wall where the coast marks a small indentation.
Descending along the chain we reach a seabed mixed with scattered rocks and a detrital bed; wasting no time we head for the wall, and keeping it on our left we begin to explore the countless recesses and holes in which spiny lobsters, moray eels, and endless branches of coral can be seen.
Having nearly reached the point that demarcates the bay of the dragon, we can momentarily leave the wall to descend further to our right. Here we can visit the sparse boulders on a seabed at 40 meters covered with red gorgonians. We stop for the time allotted by the decompression limits, and then return back to the area near the wall and set off beyond the point, where we can find a labyrinth of rocks that houses large specimens of groupers, and where the sea breams go hunting for their prey. Here we can indulge ourselves in the available passages, and ascending to 15-18 meters, we can begin our return. We soon meet up with the wall, and keeping it to our right we begin to investigate the recesses until a vast and extremely rich ceiling appears to our right, extending on the diagonal up to a depth of about 9 meters. Paying attention to our depth, and our bubbles as they are caught in the folds of the canopy covered with yellow cluster anemones (Parazoantus), we can visit the little groupers or the forkbeards that often enter the underlying cracks. Starting to fin again, we reach a large square boulder that is our point of reference for returning to the mooring buoy. If we have enough air, we can continue along the wall, or else we'll head out to sea toward the boat.
Piacere!

3:15 a.m. CDT, October 30, 2012

A year ago, a freak rainstorm hit the Cinque Terre, an idyllic string of five Italian Riviera towns. Within four hours, the region got 22 inches of rain -- a third of an average year's total. While three of the towns went virtually undamaged, the other two -- Monterosso and Vernazza -- were devastated. Buried under nearly 10 feet of mud that slid down from the hillsides, the towns were left without water, electricity, or phone connections. It was a day residents will talk about for the rest of their lives.

http://www.laboa.com/

http://www.laboa.com/diving.php/en/diving-center
Ischitella 1:
Ischitella is a rock located a few hundreds of meters from the beach of Praiano and can be reached only by sea. Its rocky cliffs plunge more than fifty meters and are full of marine organisms at any depth: octocorallia, pinna nobilis, sponges, red gorgonians and some branches of Gerardia savaglia. Since this rock is wrought by the strong currents of the Gulf of Salerno when fishes step in, it is possible to meet very interesting big predators. This diving is particularly suitable for advanced divers, because both the east wall of the west wall offer wonderful sightseeing below 25m.
DEPTH: 10m-50m
SEABED: Wall
VISIBILITY: Fair
DIFFICULTY: Average

Ischitella 2:
Going down along the Ischitella wall, on the east side, we will remain enchanted by the breathtaking scenery of red gorgonians and at about -40m we will find a nice branch of Gerardia savaglia. During the ascent we will be surrounded by shoals of small fishes that will accompany us for the duration of the dive. Paying attention it is possible to admire a hundred barracuda that have now become the dominant predators of this rock. Who loves divings very challenging (recommended only for divers with deep decompression patent) has the opportunity to dive on the wall of the red coral.

SEABED: Wall
VISIBILITY: Fair
DIFFICULTY: Average/Hard

Capo D'Aniello 1:
The dive involves the exploration of a huge cave that presents its huge entrance around 15 meters deep. The dive, despite its low depth, provides a good grasp of all the equipment as well as a good level of experience in the exploration of caves.
DEPTH: 15m
SEABED: Cave
VISIBILITY: Good
DIFFICULTY: Easy

Capo D'Aniello 2:
This dive is suitable for both inexperienced and advanced divers. The dives allows divers to move along the ridge to a 18m deep bathymetry and to admire the corals that dominates the whole area. Lots of small groupers, appearing from the various cracks of the wall, swim in this area during the spring / summer months, while it is not uncommon to see yellowtails in the surroundings. Experienced divers may want to go to depths up to -40m, where there are large boulders that are usually shelter of some lobsters or breams, then going along the wall divers can discover a mixture of yellow gorgonians and vents filled with coral grouper hiding is that bream. This wall has lots of sea slugs and parazoanthus and astroides: photographers and biologists often choose this dive for their journeys.

http://skaphandrus.com/en/scuba-dive-locations/info/spot/Italy/Amalfi-Coast-and-Sorrento-Peninsula/Ischitella-di-Praiano

Luis Doncel Berlín 18 MAY 2014 - 18:48 CET
